Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Oracle EPBCS Developer with strong Oracle Planning background to support a strategic client engagement. The consultant will be responsible for troubleshooting system issues, performing break-fix support, and implementing enhancements within the Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS) environment.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a hands-on developer and administrator capacity, capable of digging deep into existing configurations, resolving production issues, optimising rules, and implementing best practices for EPBCS environments.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and break-fix resolution for Oracle EPBCS applications.
Develop and maintain business rules, calculations, and automation scripts using Groovy.
Analyze system issues and implement enhancements and performance improvements.
Support EPBCS planning applications, ensuring stability and optimal functionality.
Perform system configuration, administration, and environment maintenance.
Work with finance and business teams to understand planning requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Implement coding best practices and governance standards for EPBCS development.
Assist with testing, deployment, and documentation for system enhancements.
Provide guidance on EPBCS architecture, optimization, and operational best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong hands-on experience with Oracle EPBCS (Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service).
Solid Oracle Planning background with understanding of planning models and workflows.
Strong development experience using Groovy scripting.
Experience creating and managing EPBCS business rules and calculations.
Experience in troubleshooting, break-fix support, and system enhancements.
Strong coding and development capabilities within the EPBCS environment.
Ability to work across development and administrative responsibilities.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting enterprise-level EPBCS implementations.
Experience working in support-heavy environments handling production issues.
Knowledge of EPM Cloud architecture and integration processes.
Experience implementing EPBCS best practices and optimization techniques.
