Summary
Job Title: Data Engineer (ML / AWS / Python)
We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer with strong experience in Machine Learning, AWS, and Python for a Southwest project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable data pipelines, enabling ML use cases, and working with cloud-based data platforms to support advanced analytics.Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering
- Strong programming skills in Python and SQL
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (S3, Glue, Redshift, Lambda, EMR)
- Experience with big data tools like Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka
- Knowledge of Machine Learning concepts and model lifecycle
- Experience with ETL/ELT frameworks and data pipeline orchestration
- Strong understanding of data warehousing and data lakes
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)
- Familiarity with Airflow for workflow orchestration
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience in real-time streaming (Kafka, Kinesis)
- Exposure to CI/CD and DevOps practices
