Job#: 3019907 Job Description: Overview:Apex Systems is looking for a hands-on IAM Architect who can define the identity roadmap and execute it. This role combines strategy, solution design, and direct technical implementation across Okta, Active Directory, Azure/Entra, and a growing Google Cloud Platform environment. You will lead identity modernization efforts, drive automation, and partner across the business to improve security and user experience.
What You'll Do- Own the IAM strategy, architecture, and multi-year roadmap
- Build and implement identity solutions directly - not just guide them
- Lead hands-on design and deployment in Okta Workforce Identity
- Implement and improve identity lifecycle automation (SCIM, Workflows, API-based automation)
- Architect and configure OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and SAML 2.0 integrations
- Maintain and modernize Active Directory and Entra hybrid identity
- Configure and enhance Conditional Access, PIM, and identity governance
- Architect and support Privileged Access Management (CyberArk or Delinea)
- Partner with Cloud, Security, HRIS, and Infrastructure teams to drive adoption
- Support ongoing cloud transformation, including Google Cloud Platform and Google Workspace direction
- Mentor and guide IAM engineers on best practices and patterns
