Job Description


We are seeking a Technical Writer - Training (EHS&S) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in Environment, Health, Safety, and Security content development and a proven ability to translate complex requirements into clear standards, assessments, and job aids.


Responsibilities:



  • Develop and maintain style guides to ensure consistency and efficiency.

  • Determine logical content structures for clarity and comprehension.

  • Generate content and workflow solutions for EHS&S standards, skill checks, self-assessments, and job aids.

  • Partner with subject matter experts to validate specialized topics.

  • Analyze inputs to develop or update policies, procedures, and forms.

  • Review and copyedit team-developed content for accuracy and consistency.

  • Maintain a structured document library and version control.

  • Gather and analyze SME input to create new content and refine existing materials.


Required Skills & Qualifications:



  • BS or BA in English, Communication, Business Administration, Technical Writing, or equivalent experience.

  • 1-2+ years creating content for non-technical users, including manuals, guides, and instructions.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong analytical, conceptual thinking, and critical thinking skills.

  • Accuracy in checking technical material for consistency and correctness.

  • Project management skills to create trackers and provide stakeholder updates.

  • Organizational skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

  • Strong oral and written communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.

  • Ability to model processes and create simple flow diagrams.

  • Attention to detail, record-keeping, and proofreading.

  • Ability to work independently and within a small global team.

  • Aptitude to learn new systems, technologies, and methods quickly.


Preferred Skills:



  • Experience writing in EHS&S domains, including standards and job aids.

  • Familiarity with content libraries, version control, and editorial workflows.
