Role : Product Owner/Analyst
Location: Reston, VA
Job Description:
Responsible for defining and prioritizing the product backlog, engage with stakeholders to prioritize the backlog including production issue triaging while maintaining conceptual and technical integrity of the features or components. Responsible for product backlog maintenance, acceptance criteria and managing plans, issues and risks.
KEY JOB FUNCTIONS
Work as a product owner leading the business objectives with a squad of software engineers and align the work with stakeholder priorities.
May lead multiple product analysis activities. May be responsible for product adoption roadmap. May be responsible for regulatory mandates compliance adoption roadmap
Help cross functional teams in discovery for product by obtaining insights from stakeholders, including Customer, CDT, CXD and Marketing. May partner with lenders and customers on new business strategies. Synthesizes data and dissemination of insights to assess market needs and competitive product opportunities
Ensure future state alignment with business, technical and data architectures and alignment with Divisions Key Objectives. Exceptionally strong analytical skills. Participate in product epic discovery ; lead feature discovery
Assist in determining product deployment and rollout calendar with glide path to customer adoption, including definition of product registration activities. Establish, maintain and adhere to appropriate compliance and controls related to business processes and product development
Engage in day to day Production issue triaging for the product and report on issues, define impact assessment and track solutions with technology team
Provide strategic product expertise and guidance on significant matters. Oversee development of product documentation, FAQs, and other reference material for internal and external audiences. Develop approach for customer Training (internal or external) through webinars, focus group engagements, lender advisory panels or onsite visits
May lead test strategy and facilitate customer and end user testing through test & learn development iterations and closing the loop on customer feedback. Manage end to end business process impacts for cross functional/complex solutions
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
MUST have Single Family Acquisitions and Secondary Market domain expertise
MUST have good understanding of the different Lender/customer industry delivery file XML formats such as MISMO/ULDD, 1003/ULAD, UCD and must be comfortable with data mapping exercises
MUST have AWS Cloud technologies know-how and preferably worked on large scale projects including migration of assets from legacy to Cloud
Successful track record working in Scaled Agile environments preferred
Demonstrated success building consensus, monitoring progress and results as well as providing findings on significant matters.
Experience soliciting customer feedback and responding to product-related inquiries
Ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders to vet product ideas and influence decision making on product enhancements
Strong analytical skills in sourcing insights, identifying best practices and opportunities.
Risk and controls experience.
Experience in creating end user training materials preferred
