Summary

Project Management

    1. Utilize professional project management skills such as the PMI PMBOK principles to manage the full lifecycle of Division and Department projects of small, medium, and large size and complexity. Effectively prioritize and organize project tasks. Multi-task efficiently on concurrent projects with frequent interruptions, overlapping and changing priorities and deadlines, and diverse stakeholders.

Project Security

    1. Monitor and manage all aspects of project security according to federal, state, Department, Division and Agency regulations, policies, standards, and procedures. Ensure team members are continuously considering project security when discussing and completing tasks.
    2. Work with Division Information Security Office (ISO) to determine necessary project security considerations and approvals. Protect sensitive personal and health related information in accordance with federal, state, Department, Division and Agency regulations, policies, standards, and procedures. Use and disclose protected Personally Identifiable Information (PII) only in accordance with established federal, state, Department, Division and Agency regulations, policies, standards, and procedures.
  1. Project Management Office (PMO): Teamwork and Continuous Improvement
    1. Coordinate the creation of necessary project teams and committees. Delegate project tasks to staff, vendors, and state and local agencies. Monitor to ensure that tasks are accurately completed on time, within budget and with a high degree of quality. Actively participate in the continuous improvement and maturity of the Project Management Office (PMO). Encourage team suggestions, collaboration, innovation and implementation of new governance, policies, standards, procedures, and technologies that align with State, Department and Division strategies and goals.
    2. Engage in the team atmosphere by building constructive working relationships characterized by acceptance, honesty, integrity, cooperation, and mutual regard. Represent the PMO in a professional manner by displaying high standards of ethical conduct and integrity.
  2. Provide Assistance to Staff
    1. Serve as a mentor and trainer for other project managers and project management coordinators including business analysts. Serve effectively as the single knowledgeable project point of contact for all stakeholders.
