Role: Backend cloud infrastructure engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and support the cloud platforms and backend infrastructure that power our healthcare technology ecosystem. This role will focus on developing scalable cloud services, enabling secure data and AI platforms, and improving the reliability, performance, and operational maturity of our AWS-based environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable backend cloud infrastructure on AWS.
Develop production-quality Python services, automation, and platform tooling.
Build and optimize Databricks environments to support data engineering and AI workloads.
Implement Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and operational best practices.
Partner with engineering, data, and product teams to deliver highly available, secure, and performant backend services.
Ensure compliance with healthcare security and data privacy requirements.
Required Qualifications:
Strong hands-on experience with Python, AWS, and Databricks in production environments.
Experience building and supporting cloud-native backend systems and distributed applications.
Proficiency with infrastructure automation, containerization, and cloud monitoring tools.
Strong understanding of security, scalability, reliability, and performance optimization.
Experience working in healthcare or other regulated environments is strongly preferred.
AI experience is a big plus
