Summary

Please note that this is a 1 year contract position. The position is onsite in Malvern, PA.

Requirements:

  • The position is onsite.
  • Bachelor's degree in Biology or Chemistry
  • Must have previous Lab Operations Support experience
  • Will host vendors when they come in to perform maintenance on equipment
  • Must have GxP experience
  • Will not be executing lab experiments
  • Experience with Maximo is helpful
  • Will be involved in onboarding and decommissioning of GxP equipment; prior experience required

Description

  • Education & Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related subject area, with a minimum of 2 or more years of related industry laboratory experience, or
    • Master's degree with 1 or more years of related industry laboratory experience
  • Skills & Abilities:
    • Strong verbal communication skills
    • Excellent interpersonal skills (written and oral)
    • Ability to work in a cross-functional, customer-focused environment
    • Demonstrated ability to drive completion of activities in a timely manner
    • Experience working in a GxP environment required
    • Experience with a minimum of three lab operation activities

Lab Operation Activities (include but not limited to):

  • Instrument management: scheduling preventive maintenance/calibration/IQ/OQ activities, new equipment onboarding, moves, documentation maintenance
  • Chamber management: cleanouts, defrosts, equipment and reagent moves
  • Lab safety, housekeeping, and organization
  • Laboratory audits and quality assurance
  • Scheduling, communicating, and hosting vendors
  • Coordinate activities with internal and external operations and service teams, service providers, site quality, and analysts to ensure lab operation activities are completed and compliant
  • Experience with electronic laboratory notebook, Microsoft Office products, SmartSheets preferred
  • Ability to work with limited guidance to plan, execute, and follow through with work assignments
