Job Description: AEM Full Stack Developer

Role Type: Full Stack Developer (Adobe Experience Manager)
Focus: 60% UI Development, 40% Backend Development
Location: Irving, TX

Job Type: Full-time

Must-Have Technical/Functional Skills
  • Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) - version 6.x+
  • Frontend/UI Development (60%)
    • Angular 11+, TypeScript, JavaScript ES6
    • HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap/SCSS/SASS, Responsive Web Design
    • JSP, HTL Templating
    • Strong understanding of UX and accessibility (WCAG 2 ADA standards)
  • Backend Development (40%)
    • Java, Node.js
    • OSGi bundles, Sling servlets, schedulers, handlers
    • JCR repository management
  • CI/CD & Tooling
    • Maven, SonarQube, Artifactory
  • Agile Methodologies & Tools
    • Scrum, Confluence, JIRA

AEM-Specific Expertise
  • Customization and support of AEM DAMs
  • DAM asset ingestion & custom workflows
  • Creation and management of DAM metadata
  • Integration with Adobe suite products (Creative Suite, DAM desktop agent, InDesign Server, Brand Portal)

Additional Frontend Skills
  • API integration with backend REST services using Angular, RxJS, Redux
  • Debugging and performance optimization of frontend code
  • Strong grasp of JavaScript design patterns and best practices
  • UI code coverage with Jasmine or equivalent frameworks

Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business requirements.
  • Build and optimize AEM-based applications with strong UI and backend components.
  • Support multi-lingual sites and translation processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments.
  • Ensure accessibility, performance, and scalability of applications.
