IT Data Systems Lead to support the development and operations of the Lunar Terrain Vehicle (LTV), the next-generation lunar surface mobility system that will enable Artemis astronauts and commercial partners to explore the lunar surface.

IT Data Systems Lead will:
Oversee the design, planning, and execution of enterprise-wide digital solutions
Direct the modernization of IT infrastructure, applications, and platforms, including cloud adoption, system integration, and cybersecurity enhancements
Partner with leads, users, and customers to identify opportunities for process automation, data-driven decision-making, and customer experience enhancement
Develop roadmaps for digital initiatives and ensure alignment with organizational goals and priorities
Drive adoption of emerging technologies (AI, analytics, cloud, low-code platforms) to create business value
Establish governance, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms to measure transformation success and ROI
Mentor a team of IT professionals who design, develop, and support digital solutions throughout their lifecycle
Integrate software solutions into a multi-disciplinary engineering team
Foster a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous improvement within IT and the wider business
Manage vendor relationships, service contracts, and software licenses, focusing on cost optimization and value delivery
Provide technical expertise during major project milestones and project reviews
Perform all other assigned duties

Demonstrated leadership experience
Strong understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure, networking, systems administration, and cybersecurity fundamentals
Experience managing software development teams using agile or other structured SDLC methodologies
Experience in leading or supporting IT, Data, or Software functions in regulated industries, with exposure to NASA, DoD, SEC, or other Federal Government environments and a working knowledge of aerospace or defense industry standards and compliance frameworks
Experience and familiarity with key business intelligence enablement and observability concepts such as ETL/ELT, data centralization and distribution, governance, hygiene and retention, security and authorization, storage, scaling, and actionable insights
Familiarity with embedded software and integrated hardware designs, such as vehicle, robotics, or machinery embedded code
Demonstrated ability to deliver IT and Data solutions that improve efficiency, align with business objectives, and implement cost-saving strategies without compromising service quality
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong commitment to internal customer satisfaction
Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, problem solving, and brainstorming skills
Preferred Education/Experience/Skills: Master's degree in a related field or advanced certifications
Working experience with Human Space Exploration programs
Proven track record of leading digital transformation, cloud migration, data-driven value, and/or cost optimization initiatives
Experience with identification, data design, and delivery of KPIs and TPMs across various departments, including finance, schedule, performance, requirements, and engineering metrics
Experience with data visualization selection and implementation, data discovery, and data analysis principles
Strong understanding in one or more AI pillars, including machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing (NLP), agentic deployment, and/or computer vision
Demonstrated ability to integrate AI capabilities into existing systems or work-flows to solve real-world business or technical problems
Experience supporting engineering and development teams, including specialized environments such as flight software or simulation labs
CMMI certification
Experience with software architecture
Experience with software test methodologies and test automation
Working experience with product life-cycle management software, JIRA or similar
Working experience with systems engineering tools, such as DOORs, Cradle, Cameo, MagicDraw, JAMA, or similar
Experience in leading or supporting IT, Data, or Software functions in regulated industries, with exposure to NASA, DoD, SEC, or other Federal Government environments and a working knowledge of aerospace or defense industry standards and compliance frameworks
Experience and familiarity with key business intelligence enablement and observability concepts such as ETL/ELT, data centralization and distribution, governance, hygiene and retention, security and authorization, storage, scaling, and actionable insights
