REQUIRED - MUST have a current TS/SCI Polygraph clearance to apply for role. Only those with a current TS/SCI with Poly clearance will be considered.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop detailed guidance for cloud workloads that ensure compliance with Government security and regulatory

requirements such as NIST SP 800-53 security controls
Collaborate with cloud-focused teams across various organizations to design, test, and implement cloud workload security

configurations and solutions.
Facilitate the creation of procedures and cybersecurity guidance for migrations from legacy cloud environments or hardware

environments into AWS
Evaluate and research cloud services and make recommendations for security configurations of those services to ensure data

is appropriately protected.
Evaluate and research cloud security technologies and make recommendations for their use.

Required Experience:
Customer facing skills to drive discussions with senior personnel regarding trade-offs, best practices, project management and risk mitigation
Experience with cloud computing and virtualization platforms.
Ability to quickly learn and shift in step with the latest cloud-computing, networking, and infrastructure management technologies.
Excellent communication, writing, problem solving, and architectural whiteboarding skills
Strong knowledge of application system and network architectures and associated security principles including protection of data at rest, in transit, and in

process.
Knowledge of security and compliance requirements for cloud-based solutions.

Desired Experience:
A commercial Cloud Certification at the Associate level, a specialty, or higher; AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud are preferred
Familiarity with the Risk Management Framework/Zero-Trust Implementation
Experience with security-focused AWS concepts and services including IAM (Identity Access Management), SCPs (Security Control Policies), AWS Key

Management Service, AWS Config, AWS Security Hub, GuardDuty, and Inspector
