Lead Tableau Developer / Business Intelligence Analyst-Developer

• Role: Lead Tableau Developer / Business Intelligence Analyst-Developer
• Location: Hartford, CT (Hybrid)
• Interview Mode: In-Person Interview Required

📌 Work Location & Hybrid Details

• Candidate must be local to Connecticut
• Candidate must be within 100 miles of Hartford, CT
• Candidate must work onsite:

• 2 days every 2 weeks OR
• 1 day per week
  • Candidate must attend at least one in-person interview
  • Vendors must introduce candidates during virtual meetings

📌 Required Experience

• 10+ years of overall IT experience
• 5+ years of hands-on Tableau Development experience
• 5+ years of experience writing complex SQL queries
• Strong expertise in:

• T-SQL
• SSRS
• SSIS
• Talend
  • Experience debugging and improving SQL query performance
  • Experience deploying SSIS packages using:
• Git check-in
• Environment variables
• SQL Agent Jobs
  • Strong experience with Stored Procedures and Transact-SQL
  • Experience with Team Foundation / Version Control
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines

📌 Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Tableau reports and dashboards
• Create and maintain SSRS reports and SSIS ETL packages
• Design and develop database architecture and data models

Develop ETL/ELT solutions for:

• Data ingestion
• Data cleansing
• Business rule execution

Data distribution
• Work on data migration from legacy systems to new platforms
• Develop custom SQL scripts, triggers, and stored procedures
• Validate requirements with Business Analysts and stakeholders
• Optimize SSIS package execution and SQL performance
• Design data conversion and reconciliation strategies
• Handle FTP/SFTP file transfers within SSIS packages

Participate in all SDLC phases:

• Requirements gathering
• Data mapping
• Development
• Testing
• Troubleshooting
• Documentation
• Performance optimization
• Maintenance

Create Tableau reports with:

• Dynamic grouping
• Drill-down reports
• Summary reports
• Cross-tab reports
• Dynamic sorting
• Support SOA integration initiatives

• Salesforce experience
• MuleSoft experience
