Test Engineer - FLITE+ Missile Warning Integration & Test

Location: Buckley Space Force Base, CO

Clearance Required: Active TS/SCI

Leidos is seeking a mission-driven Test Engineer to join the FLITE+ program at Buckley Space Force Base, supporting one of the nation's most critical space-based defense missions. In this role, you'll contribute directly to the Missile Warning Integration and Test enterprise-helping ensure the systems protecting our nation are verified, validated, and ready when it matters most.

This position is ideal for a technical professional who thrives in complex mission environments, enjoys solving hard problems, and wants to grow within a high-visibility, high-impact program.

What You'll Do
  • Serve as a Test Engineer supporting Missile Warning Integration and Test activities across the FLITE+ enterprise.
  • Provide independent technical consultation to Senior Test Engineers on verification planning, execution, and analysis.
  • Advise on test methodologies, verification strategies, and process improvements to strengthen mission assurance.
  • Support enterprise-level coordination, ensuring test and verification activities are aligned across systems, stakeholders, and mission partners.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts that enhance the reliability, performance, and readiness of Missile Warning capabilities.

What You Bring
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance (required).
  • Bachelor's degree and 4-8 years of relevant experience in systems engineering, test engineering, or related technical fields.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting Missile Warning systems, system integration, and verification activities.
  • Proven ability to provide technical leadership and advisory support within complex, operationally focused mission environments.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with senior engineers, mission partners, and enterprise stakeholders.
