What You ll Do

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving electrical and automation systems that keep production running efficiently and safely.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial electrical, instrumentation, and control systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Programming, modifying, loading, and diagnosing PLC systems across multiple platforms and generations
  • Configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting HMIs, VFDs, and motor control systems, including Allen-Bradley drives
  • Supporting and maintaining sensors, I/O systems, and field instrumentation across production equipment
  • Collaborating with maintenance and engineering teams to identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions
  • Supporting equipment startups, commissioning, testing, and system upgrades
  • Designing and implementing control system improvements to enhance safety, uptime, and efficiency
  • Maintaining accurate documentation, program backups, and version control for all control system changes
  • Providing off-hours or emergency support when needed to minimize production downtime

What You Bring

We are looking for a technically skilled and solution-driven professional with strong industrial controls experience.

Required qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience in industrial electrical and controls maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and industrial automation systems
  • Experience working with Allen-Bradley platforms and drives
  • Ability to troubleshoot across multiple generations of control systems and equipment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities in a production environment
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a maintenance team
  • Experience in food manufacturing, bakery, packaging, or high-speed production environments is preferred
  • Willingness to support overtime and off-hours troubleshooting as needed
