Job Title: Senior Test Lead – SAP IS-U / Utility CIS Transformation
Location: Remote (Monthly travel to Columbus, Ohio required)
Employment Type: Full-Time Permanent or Contract

Job Summary
We are seeking six experienced Test Leads for a large-scale utility Customer Information System (CIS) transformation program. Candidates must have strong SAP IS-U expertise, utility Meter-to-Cash (M2C) knowledge, and proven experience leading testing for major electric, gas, or water utility implementations.
The ideal candidate will independently govern testing activities, assess System Integrator deliverables, challenge testing gaps, and ensure quality and readiness across the transformation lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end testing for large-scale utility CIS transformation programs.
  • Develop and govern test strategies, plans, scenarios, scripts, execution and reporting.
  • Validate SAP IS-U functionality and utility Meter-to-Cash processes, including meter reading, billing, invoicing and payments.
  • Oversee system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), regression testing and end-to-end testing.
  • Govern and challenge System Integrator testing plans, execution results, defect management and quality gates.
  • Monitor test progress, risks, dependencies, defects and readiness criteria.
  • Coordinate with business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors and project leadership.
  • Drive defect resolution, test coverage, quality assurance and go-live readiness.
  • Provide clear testing status reports, risk assessments and recommendations to project leadership.

Mandatory Qualifications

  • 10+ years of overall software testing/QA experience.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Test Lead or in a comparable testing leadership role.
  • Strong hands-on SAP IS-U experience.
  • Proven experience leading testing for a large-scale CIS implementation or transformation at an electric, gas or water utility.
  • Strong understanding of utility Meter-to-Cash business processes.
  • Demonstrated experience governing and challenging System Integrator testing activities.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be willing and able to travel to Columbus, Ohio, monthly.
