Project Details:
Product for Supply Chain which includes a variety of domains order management, logistics, digital merchandising, and more.
This critical Lead Product Manager role will be focused on driving continuous improvement for our manufacturing practices, including our in-house furniture and lighting manufacturing facilities. You ll be working on projects of diverse scope and complexity, related to improving every aspect of the customer experience. The right candidate will have deep experience with discrete manufacturing as well as the associated logistics and transportation activities and a techno-functional / Product Management background.
Duties:
Help define the manufacturing product roadmap and assess opportunities using a hypothesis-driven approach focused on measurable, high impact outcomes.
- Remain current with market and industry trends and perform competitor product analysis.
- Clearly identify and measure KPIs that not only help us decide what to do, but that are needle-moving metrics for the business that can be measured before, during, and after they are live in production. Develop measurement strategies to drive ongoing optimization.
- Lead the definition, prioritization, and scoping of initiatives related to Supply Chain and Manufacturing.
- Serve as a liaison between Business and Technology teams to ensure that their voice is heard loudly every day.
- Collaborate with Technology partners to drive execution and iterative delivery of initiatives.
- Support cross-functional teams by being the subject matter expert, able to answer questions, manage exploration activities, and make clear recommendations.
- Provide a clear recommendation on priorities and progress against a product roadmap with business partners and senior Technology leadership.
- Design and execute the OCM plan related to new product implementations. This includes writing all appropriate SOP documentation around new system processes
- In partnership with the business and internal audit, develop the appropriate system user access and security roles to be used for all business users
- Collaborate with internal audit partners to ensure adherence to company auditing and security guidelines
- Analyze business licensing requirements for all system users and provide licensing recommendations to ensure the licensing count and type meet the business needs and is compliant with vendor requirements.
Top Requirements:
- 8 years of related techno-functional / Product Management experience.
- Experience in discreet manufacturing, ideally for furniture and/or lighting
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX/Dynamics 365 for finance, inventory management and operations (purchasing raw materials, fulfilling purchase orders).
- Experience with related supply chain operations, order management, ecommerce and finance / accounting processes.
- Experience in organizing, planning, and executing large-scale business transformation projects from vision, requirements gathering, solutioning, and all steps of implementation (organizational change management, UAT, Training, hyper-care).
- Experience with the process of configurable products as they flow from the ecommerce customer orders through order management (OMS) and to Dynamics365 for manufacturing and order fulfillment.
