Job Details

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead overall project execution, aligning project management and field operations with contractual requirements, budgets, schedules, and quality standards.
  • Oversee Project Managers, Superintendents, and field leadership, establishing clear responsibilities and accountability.
  • Partner with estimating and preconstruction teams on scope reviews, budgets, procurement strategies, staffing plans, and project turnover.
  • Manage project financial performance, including forecasting, cost control, billing, cash flow, change orders, and profitability.
  • Serve as a senior point of contact for owners, general contractors, construction managers, engineers, and other project stakeholders.
  • Monitor construction progress and resolve scheduling, manpower, material, equipment, and coordination challenges.
  • Coordinate electrical installation with other trades and support constructability reviews, sequencing, and site logistics.
  • Establish and reinforce expectations for jobsite safety, quality, and compliance.
  • Oversee subcontractor and vendor performance, including long-lead equipment procurement and delivery.
  • Guide testing, commissioning, project turnover, and closeout activities.
  • Mentor project leaders and strengthen processes that support consistent project delivery.

Qualifications
  • Extensive electrical construction experience, including senior leadership responsibility for large or complex projects.
  • Proven success overseeing projects in data center, commercial, or industrial environments.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction methods, drawings, specifications, and applicable codes.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead project management and field teams through all phases of construction.
  • Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, cost reporting, and change management.
  • Experience managing contracts, project risks, procurement, and client relationships.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, make timely decisions, and resolve complex project issues.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and team development skills.
  • Proficiency with construction project management, scheduling, and financial reporting software.
  • Ability to travel to and maintain a regular presence at project sites as needed.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with mission-critical facilities and data center electrical infrastructure.
  • Background overseeing multiple projects or large, phased construction programs.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
