Summary

We are looking for Assembler Associate for our client in Abbott Park, IL

Job Title: Assembler Associate

Job Location: Abbott Park, IL

Job Type: Contract

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $17.50hr - $22.50hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.
  • Basic computer literacy including data entry, inventory software, and Microsoft Office.
  • Prior experience manufacturing in a GMP environment.
  • Prior experience manufacturing in an environment adhering to ISO standards.
  • Ability to gown to work in a clean environment including hood, shoe covers, and coveralls.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow established GMP instructions without deviation.
  • Execute highly complex or specialized work.
  • Proactively monitor production activities, including clearing of minor jams and other types of downtime issues on the line to minimize impact to production process.
  • Report any abnormal equipment function or product problems as soon as identified.
  • Operate filling, labeling, and other pieces of equipment according to established procedures or specifications.
  • Operate multiple pieces of equipment at one time.
  • Ensure accurate completion of the work order and other documentation.
  • Safely operate all equipment and promptly report all incidents, injuries, or safety hazards.
  • Maintain accurate and legible records.
  • Complete inspection of products and materials to ensure acceptable visual and physical appearance.
  • Perform basic calculations.
  • Maintain and replenish production materials.
  • Complete general housekeeping tasks.
  • Contribute positively to the production team.
  • Take accountability for individual and team performance and efficiency.
  • Follow basic instructions with minimal supervision.
  • Communicate effectively face to face, via phone, and email.
  • Utilize computer-based programs including Microsoft Office, SAP, and other custom production programs.
  • Perform tasks associated with production activities for aseptically filling and label application of filled bottles/vials.
  • Handle setup, shutdown, and cleaning of filling equipment inside of an ISO 7 environment.
  • Handle setup, shutdown, and cleaning of multiple pieces of equipment performing quality checks and label application in a Controlled Non Classified area (CNC).
  • Maintain a safe working environment and support production activities outside direct area of work.
  • Multi-task in a dynamic environment while maintaining quality product and area GMP.
