Job Title: Senior Engineering Project Manager

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Project Manager to lead complex, cross-functional engineering projects that may span multiple product lines. This role requires strong technical leadership, project management expertise, and the ability to collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and business functions. The successful candidate will independently plan, execute, and deliver engineering initiatives while managing project scope, timelines, budgets, and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Independently plan, execute, and lead complex cross-functional engineering projects from initiation through completion.
Manage engineering programs that may span multiple product lines and organizational functions.
Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, providing project direction and oversight.
Manage project schedules, scope, risks, deliverables, and stakeholder communications.
Oversee all financial aspects of product development projects, including capital expenditures and cross-functional project budgets.
Identify, analyze, and resolve complex technical and project-related issues using sound engineering judgment.
Develop innovative solutions through adaptation and application of engineering principles and experimental approaches.
Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with organizational quality standards.
Communicate project status, risks, and recommendations effectively to leadership and key stakeholders.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor''s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
8–10 years of engineering experience.
2–5 years of experience leading cross-functional or matrix-managed engineering teams.
Proven experience managing complex engineering or product development projects.
Strong project planning, execution, budgeting, and risk management skills.
Experience managing project financials, including capital expenditures and project costs.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and make sound engineering and business decisions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Thorough and current knowledge of multiple engineering disciplines.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience leading projects across multiple product lines.
Knowledge of product development lifecycle and engineering best practices.
PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
Must-Have Skills:
Bachelor''s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.

2–5 years of experience leading cross-functional/matrix-managed engineering teams.
Proven experience managing complex engineering or product development projects.
Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, scheduling, and delivery.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to independently identify, analyze, and resolve complex engineering problems.
Thorough knowledge of multiple engineering disciplines and engineering principles.
Experience working in a matrix management environment.
