We are seeking a hands-on
Google Cloud Platform Cloud Architect to join a growing, mission-driven technology organization at the intersection of
cloud computing, AI, and scientific innovation. This individual will play a critical role in shaping and scaling the company s cloud infrastructure, ensuring it is secure, reliable, and built for future growth.
This is a high-impact position suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys ownership, and wants to help build and evolve systems from a strong existing foundation.

What You ll Do:- Lead the design and evolution of the organization s cloud architecture on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)
- Ensure systems are scalable, secure, and highly available
- Enhance and optimize existing infrastructure and services
- Implement and strengthen cloud security best practices
- Collaborate closely with engineering and research teams to support evolving technical needs
- Take a hands-on approach to building, deploying, and maintaining cloud solutions
- Help establish standards, processes, and long-term architectural direction
What We re Looking For:- ~5+ years of experience in cloud engineering/architecture
- Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)
- Experience designing and managing scalable distributed systems
- Solid understanding of cloud security, networking, and infrastructure best practices
- Ability to operate with high ownership and autonomy
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- Comfortable in a hands-on, builder role (not purely strategic)
Nice to Have:- Experience in startup environments and/or large-scale tech companies
- Exposure to AI/ML or data-intensive workloads
- Background in regulated or scientific industries (e.g., biotech, healthcare)

- Standard business hours with occasional on-call responsibility for critical issues
