Network Engineer - Long Term Project - Sacramento, CA
Title: Network Engineer
Location: Sacramento, CA - onsite
Duration: Long Term Project -6 plus months
Compensation: $60-68.00/hr.

Responsibilities:
- Configure, install, and maintain routers, switches, voice gateways, access points, and microwave radio equipment.
- Support day-to-day network operations, including troubleshooting, monitoring, and incident response.
- Assist with implementation of new projects and upgrades.
- Maintain accurate documentation of network diagrams, configurations, and processes. Work independently and collaboratively to support network availability and performance.
Qualifications / Experience: Cisco Associate-level experience.
- Hands-on expertise with Cisco and non-Cisco routers and switches.
- Experience with microwave radios and wireless access points.
- Knowledge of the OSI model and Cisco three-layer hierarchical model.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks with minimal supervision.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexible and adaptable to new tools, technologies, and environments.
- CCNA certification is a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to pass a stringent criminal background check (livescan) before starting work.
- In office support schedule Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
