Databricks Engineer (VISA INDEPENDENT CANDIDATES ONLY)

Job Summary:

Client is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and support data and software solutions powering clinical research. You will lead ETL/Databricks efforts, architect software products, and mentor engineers to deliver customer-specific extensions.

You will work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment to improve data quality, enable data-driven decisions, and support deployments using Azure DevOps Git.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure components (Azure SQL, Databricks, Data Factory).
• Experience implementing ETL solutions using Databricks.
• Strong database development skills in Azure SQL or Databricks.
• Experience in data warehouses and data quality improvements.
• Experience with large datasets and complex software systems.
• Able to work in a high-pressure, deadline-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop ETL programs and Databricks workflows.
• Create technical specifications for data loading rules.
• Mentor Software Engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Design, implement, and architect software products and customer extensions.
• Produce architectural and installation documents for the software development process.
• Support technical consulting for pharmaceutical clients.
• Design and support clinical trial information sharing solutions.
• Provide application support for existing products.
• Support release management using Azure DevOps Git and live deployments.
