Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Developer with Data Warehouse to design, build, and maintain enterprise-scale data warehouse and business intelligence solutions. This role requires deep hands-on expertise in Oracle SQL/PLSQL, ETL development, data modeling, and BI platforms to support analytics and reporting across the organization.
The successful candidate will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to deliver high-quality, performant, and scalable data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Data Engineering & Development
Design, develop, and maintain complex Oracle SQL and PL/SQL code including procedures, packages, and functions.
Build and support ETL pipelines using tools such as OWB, ODI, Informatica, Talend, Attunity, or similar.
Perform data extraction, transformation, validation, and loading into enterprise data warehouse environments.
Data Modeling & Architecture
Design and maintain OLTP and OLAP data models (star/snowflake schemas).
Implement dimensional modeling, slowly changing dimensions, and historical tracking.
Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across systems.
Business Intelligence & Reporting
Develop and maintain OBIEE / Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) RPD semantic layers.
Build dashboards, analytics, and ad-hoc reporting solutions.
Develop and maintain Oracle BI Publisher reports.
Performance & Optimization
Tune complex SQL queries and optimize ETL performance.
Identify and resolve data performance bottlenecks.
Monitor and improve system scalability and reliability.
Collaboration & Support
Work with business users to translate reporting requirements into technical solutions.
Provide production support and troubleshooting for data and BI issues.
Participate in code reviews and enforce best practices.
Mandatory Skills & Experience
Technical (Must-Have)
5+ years hands-on experience with Oracle SQL & PL/SQL.
3+ years experience in ETL development (ODI, Informatica, Talend, Attunity, OWB or similar).
3+ years experience with OBIEE / OAS, including RPD modeling and dashboards.
Strong experience in data modeling (OLTP & OLAP).
Experience with SQL performance tuning.
