Data Analyst

Introduction

As a Data Analyst, you will play a key role in analyzing data, creating reports, and ensuring data quality within the team. You will work with various tools and technologies to extract, transform, and load data, as well as communicate data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end report delivery for stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Analyze data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement
  • Troubleshoot data and reporting issues, and support resolution
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent communication and timely support
  • Contribute to ongoing modernization efforts through improved visibility and analytics
  • Maintain delivery calendars and integrated plans, coordinating milestones and dependencies
  • Validate data outputs and perform quality checks to ensure reliability of deliverables

Requirements

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, or related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or software/data-related roles
  • Experience with SQL and Python for data querying and analysis
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau
  • Experience working with large datasets and performing data validation
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS
  • Understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts
  • Experience with version control (Git) and collaborative development workflows
  • Ability to communicate data insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences

About the Opportunity

As an Engineer I - Data Analyst, you will support reporting operations, contribute to modernization efforts, and improve operational processes. You will enable secure report delivery, drive timely issue resolution, and maintain a high standard of service for stakeholders.

Operational Ownership: Report Delivery (60%)

  • Support end-to-end report delivery for stakeholders
  • Maintain delivery calendars and plans
  • Monitor workflow health and identify risks
  • Validate data outputs and perform quality checks

Analysis and Strategic Improvements (20%)

  • Review requirements and provide input into data design
  • Analyze data to identify trends and anomalies
  • Experiment with new tools and technologies
  • Contribute to standardized workflows

Support (20%)

  • Troubleshoot data and reporting issues
  • Fulfill ad hoc data requests
  • Ensure consistent communication and timely support
