As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will join Turnberry's Digital Modernization practice, where technology and strategy combine to deliver exceptional digital experiences, empowering organizations to thrive in today's digital market.
Responsibilities:
Work alongside the development and product management teams to produce high quality entertainment applications that allow our customers to access, record, and watch their video content on iOS, Android, and the web
Thoroughly test web-based entertainment applications across multiple browsers and platforms
Triage and test fixes for bugs found during development cycles, and occasionally in production
Work with the development and product management teams to understand and contribute to requirements and test cases for new features
Collaborate with the functional automation team to translate regression test cases into automation scripts
Analyze REST web services called by the application for display of data and error handling
Willing to take ownership of problems and see them through to resolution
Comfortable working in a fast paced agile environment, requirements change quickly and our team needs to constantly adapt to moving targets
Perform inspections and set quality assurance testing models for analysis of raw materials, materials in process, and finished products
Qualifications:
5 to 8 years of experience testing web applications across multiple browsers and platforms
5+ years of device testing and certification experience in lab and in the field
2+ year of hands-on experience on testing iOS and android devices, log collection, and log triaging
2+ year of experience in device logging tools like QXDM, XCAP, XCAL etc.
2+ year of experience in Keysight UXM and other network simulator boxes
Bachelor or higher degree in engineering is preferred
Familiarity with HTTP web services, and ability to modify requests/responses to test various scenarios
Solid verbal and written communication skills
High regard for test case maintainability
Strong debugging skills and attention to detail
Web test automation experience is a plus
Video quality analysis is a plus
Significant experience in one of the following categories:
Deployment Automation and Containerization (Puppet, Docker, Kubernetes)
Configuration Management and Build Automation
Set Top Box Automation (Cisco, Arris)
Large-Scale Systems Integration and Automation
Experience with a variety of scripting languages including Python and JavaScript
Experience writing core programming languages such as Java or Objective C
Experience with web application development including dynamic HTML, CSS, and JS integration
Familiarity with Continuous Integration Development Lifecycles and the specific Development and Testing challenges inherent to that approach
Ability to navigate Unix operating systems
Good communicator and able to clearly articulate complex issues and technologies
Familiarity with the full lifecycle of QA Engineering support for targeted technology stacks {JavaScript, iOS, and/or Android client technologies, UNIX server side tech}
Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
Good understanding of wireless technologies including 4G, 5G (SA, NSA, mmwave), VoLTE, VoWiFi, RCS/SMS/MMS network architecture and protocols
Good understanding of call flows over RRC, NAS protocols, throughout scenarios
Good storyteller on the device issues from lab and field
Able to communicate to the OEM and chipset maker
5 days a week onsite in Philadelphia office
The salary range for this role is $80,000 to $120,000 or the hourly equivalent.
