IT Contracts & Procurement Specialist/IT Sourcing Specialist

The IT Procurement Agent is responsible for coordinating and managing the procurement of IT goods, software, and services through enterprise procurement platforms. This role supports category management initiatives, negotiates contracts, ensures compliance, and drives cost efficiency while aligning technology purchases with business needs and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end IT procurement activities using SAP/SRM and GEP Source-to-Pay platforms.
• Support sourcing activities including bid analysis, supplier selection, negotiations, and purchase order execution.
• Develop and support category management strategies, spend analysis, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Manage vendor relationships, RFI/RFP processes, onboarding, and contract renewals.
• Draft and administer software, hardware, and services agreements ensuring compliance.
• Collaborate with IT, finance, and legal teams to support procurement planning and budgeting (CapEx vs O&M).
• Maintain procurement records, supplier performance metrics, and audit documentation.
• Conduct market research to support sourcing strategies and supplier evaluations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain, Business, IT, or related field.
• 3+ years of procurement experience, preferably in IT sourcing or category management.
• Experience with SAP/SRM and GEP procurement platforms.
• Strong negotiation, vendor management, and stakeholder communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Category management or procurement certifications (CPSM, CPPM, etc.).
• Experience negotiating enterprise technology contracts.
• Proven cost savings and supplier performance improvement experience.
