Position Overview
We are seeking a Slack IT Engineer with 5+ years of enterprise administration experience to manage, optimize, and secure a large-scale Slack ecosystem. This role focuses on governance, API development, and AI-driven automation to enhance global productivity and workflow efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
* Enterprise Administration: Manage Slack at scale, ensuring security, compliance, and operational efficiency across multiple workspaces.
* Automation & AI: Build and deploy Slack-based automation using APIs, bots, and AI-driven solutions to optimize team workflows.
* Integrations: Connect Slack with third-party enterprise tools and internal applications using REST APIs and custom scripting.
* Governance Framework: Develop and enforce policies for workspace management, data retention, and security compliance.
* Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with IT Security and Engineering teams to implement scalable solutions and lead technology projects from concept to launch.
Required Qualifications
* 5+ years of Enterprise Slack Administration experience.
* Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python or JavaScript for custom bot/app development.
* API Expertise: Strong understanding of API design principles and Slack API integration.
* AI Strategy: Experience implementing agent-based automation or AI-driven productivity strategies within Slack.
* Security Knowledge: Familiarity with enterprise IT security and compliance standards for collaboration tools.
