Procurement Manager

Introduction

The Procurement Manager will be responsible for leading strategic sourcing initiatives and supplier negotiations, specifically focusing on construction services for large capital projects. This role will play a critical role in optimizing cost, quality, and supplier performance to drive value across major capital programs at Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E).

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide strategic sourcing initiatives and supplier negotiations.
• Develop category and sourcing strategies to optimize cost, quality, and supplier performance.
• Manage complex procurement projects and cross-functional stakeholder relationships.
• Oversee contracts, sourcing governance, spend analysis, and supplier performance.
• Drive continuous improvement and deliver value across major capital programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor''''s degree or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of strategic sourcing or procurement experience.
• Experience sourcing construction services for large capital projects.
• Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and category strategy experience.
• Utility industry, SAP/SRM, project management, or leadership experience is a plus.

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Oakland, CA). Candidates outside the Bay Area will be considered if they''''re willing to travel onsite 2–3 days per week at their own expense.
