Technical Project Manager II

ApTask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Technical Project Manager II for a technology client. This is an onsite position located in Sunnyvale, CA with a 12+ month contract.

Summary:
This role involves the definition, implementation, and delivery of complex programs requiring cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will have program management experience in fields such as semiconductor, hardware, consumer electronics, or cameras.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver programs within the constraints of scope, quality, time and budget
• Manage a group of internal and matrixed employees and contractors to deliver systems and systems enhancements that meet specified requirements
• Provide oversight of project scope definition and management, requirements gathering and documentation, time estimating, and project schedule development and tracking
• Manage project budget, status reporting, issue and risk management, and contingency planning
• Handle customer interaction and communications across multiple organizational levels

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering, or related field
• Experience working on Camera Module development
• Consumer electronics experience
• Semiconductor experience
• Experience with project estimating, project scheduling & tracking, and customer interaction and management
• Proven people management and team building skills
• Demonstrated ability to be flexible/adaptable in exercising judgment in a changing environment and to manage competing priorities
• Proven ability to learn business processes quickly and to work well with business partners at different levels within the organization
• Strong ability to assess risk and apply management principles to technology applications/products and business functions
• Experience delivering technology and business application solutions in a large-scale, multi-platform systems environment
• Experience using program management software

Desired skills:

• MBA or other related advanced degree
• PMP or PMI certification

Pay range: up to $ 81.80 per hour
