Hours and Pay


  • Salary: $105,000 annually

  • Bonus: 6% performance-based bonus

  • Schedule: Full-time (standard business hours)

Daily Responsibilities


  • Design, develop, and maintain electrical control systems for automated machinery and industrial processes

  • Program, test, and troubleshoot PLC and HMI systems (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Schneider, or similar)

  • Create and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel layouts

  • Select and specify components including PLCs, drives, sensors, relays, and control hardware

  • Support system commissioning, startup, and on-site troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance

  • Collaborate with mechanical engineers, project managers, and technicians to deliver integrated solutions

  • Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and internal procedures (NEC, NFPA, UL, CE)

  • Maintain and update technical documentation, including drawings, manuals, and software backups

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and system upgrades to enhance performance and reliability


Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • 3+ years of experience in industrial automation or electrical controls engineering

  • Proficiency in PLC programming and troubleshooting

  • Experience with HMI/SCADA systems

  • Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems and control panels

  • Ability to read and develop electrical schematics and diagrams

  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills


Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience with VFDs, servo systems, and motion control technologies

  • Familiarity with industrial communication networks (EtherNet/IP, Profibus, Modbus)

  • Background in manufacturing or industrial environments

  • Knowledge of electrical and safety standards (NEC, NFPA, UL, CE)
