Senior Architect 1 (Onsite)
Primary Location: Colombus, Ohio

V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Senior Architect 1 for our premier client in Colombus, Ohio.

Education and Experience »

Professional .NET development experience.
Demonstrated experience taking ownership of existing applications and codebases.
Deep expertise with C#, .NET, and Entity Framework.
Strong experience designing and building RESTful APIs and using GraphQL.
Advanced SQL Server expertise including stored procedures and indexing strategies.
Proven experience using GitHub Enterprise.
Demonstrated experience leading development efforts and mentoring other developers.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Highly desired:

Experience migrating or modernizing legacy MVC applications.
Experience with React, Vite, and NodeJS.
Experience stabilizing or improving applications in active production environments.
Experience working in public sector or highly visible environments.
Experience supporting financial, tax, or property related systems.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Job Responsibilities:

Review existing MVC based applications and identify required migration or modernization work.
Design, develop, and optimize SQL Server stored procedures, indexes, and queries.
Lead hands on development of .NET applications and APIs (Rest & GraphQL).
Define and recommend application architecture patterns and technical standards appropriate to the current environment.
Break technical work into milestones, deliverables, and development tasks.
Provide development estimates and support project planning activities.
Work closely with the development team, business analysts, and IT Project Manager to define scope and sequencing.
Develop and enhance front end utilizing react and prime react components
Collaborate with business analysts to translate functional requirements into technical designs.
Mentor and support other developers through code reviews and troubleshooting.
Support development workflows using GitHub Enterprise.
Communicate progress, risks, and technical recommendations clearly to the IT Director and project leadership.
Ensure best practices with Entity Framework code first and data access patterns.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
