Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Automation QA Engineer with strong Equities domain experience to join our client s team in Weehawken, NJ. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in test automation frameworks, strong knowledge of equities trading systems, and the ability to work in a fast-paced financial services environment.
This role requires full onsite presence (5 days/week) and strong collaboration with development, business analysts, and trading stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Equities trading applications.

Build and enhance automation frameworks using industry-standard tools.

Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.

Validate trade lifecycle flows including order management, execution, allocation, and settlement.

Work closely with Developers, Product Owners, and Business Analysts to understand business requirements and create effective test strategies.

Analyze trading data and verify accuracy across systems.

Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups.

Ensure quality standards and compliance within financial systems.

Identify defects, track issues, and ensure timely resolution.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

8+ years of QA experience with strong focus on Automation.

Strong experience in Equities/Capital Markets domain.

Deep understanding of trade lifecycle (Order Entry Execution Clearing Settlement).

Hands-on experience with automation tools such as:

Selenium

Java

TestNG / JUnit

Cucumber (BDD preferred)

Strong SQL skills for backend validation.

Experience with REST API testing (Postman / RestAssured).

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or similar).

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment.

Strong analytical and communication skills.
