Job Title:  Full-stack Java Engineer
Location:  Weehawken NJ/ Raleigh, NC (Locals only)
Employment Type:  C2H on W2

Duration: 6 Months

Job Responsibilities:

We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join our banking platform application development team develop best-in-class applications using the latest cloud technologies work across the full stack, building highly scalable distributed solutions that enable positive user experiences and measurable business growth develop new features and infrastructure development in support of rapidly emerging business and project requirements ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, maintaining high standards of code quality and thoughtful application design work with agile development methodologies, adhering to best practices and pursuing continued learning opportunities

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using Java and modern frontend technologies
Build scalable, distributed microservices using event-driven architecture
Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services
Work with Azure cloud-native services to build robust and scalable applications
Implement containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices
Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes
Contribute to DevOps practices including CI/CD and automation
Stay current with emerging technologies and continuously improve development practices

Required Skills & Experience

10+ years of experience in software development with a focus on Java
Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture
Hands-on experience with event-driven systems (Kafka or similar)
Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
Proficiency in frontend technologies including React and Redux
Experience with Azure cloud services (e.g., Azure Functions, APIM, Data Grid)
Experience with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
Strong knowledge of RDBMS databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Azure SQL)
Experience with integration and unit testing
Familiarity with Ansible or similar deployment tools
Solid understanding of distributed systems, multithreading, and low-latency applications
Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines

Nice to Have

Experience in banking or financial services domain
Exposure to batch processing systems
Knowledge of advanced CSS (CSS3, SASS, LESS)
