Job Title: Java Developer

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Java Developer to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable applications using Java technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build reliable software solutions that support business objectives and deliver exceptional user experiences.

This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for building clean, efficient, and maintainable code.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications and services

• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices

• Participate in system architecture and technical design discussions

• Develop RESTful APIs and backend services

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues

• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability

• Collaborate with product managers, QA engineers, and frontend developers

• Perform code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

• Maintain technical documentation and development standards

• Support deployment and production environments as needed

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

• 3+ years of professional experience in Java development

• Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8+)

• Experience with Spring Framework / Spring Boot

• Knowledge of RESTful API development

• Experience working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle)

• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems

• Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles

• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with microservices architecture

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

• Exposure to messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)

• Frontend experience (Angular, React, or JavaScript frameworks) is a plus
