Data Center Technician
Location: Onsite - Mesa, East Valley PHX
Employment Type: Full-Time

We are seeking a motivated Data Center Technician to support daily operations in a high-availability data center environment. This role is well-suited for individuals who enjoy hands-on technical work, problem-solving, and maintaining critical infrastructure. The ideal candidate has experience working with hardware, cabling, and general IT systems, and thrives in a structured, fast-paced environment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Install and maintain structured cabling, including Cat5e/Cat6 and fiber-optic connections.
• Perform hardware installation tasks such as racking servers, network switches, and power equipment.
• Conduct troubleshooting for connectivity issues, hardware failures, and environmental alerts.
• Support the deployment of new infrastructure by preparing racks, mounting equipment, and performing cable routing.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical trade school or certifications are a plus.
• 1-3 years of experience in data center operations, structured cabling, or related IT support roles.
• Familiarity with common data center hardware (servers, switches, PDUs, cabling components).

Preferred Skills

• Experience using cable testers, labelers, and fiber inspection tools.
• Knowledge of basic Linux or Windows command line operations.
• Troubleshooting of server connectivity, testing hardware components

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Mesa, AZ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $28.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
