A respected regional law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate (2 7 years) to join its Providence office. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney looking for hands-on experience, meaningful courtroom exposure, and a clear long-term growth path.

Practice Areas Include:

• Complex civil defense matters
• Insurance-related disputes
• Environmental and exposure-based claims
• Commercial and business litigation

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage cases from inception through trial preparation
• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda
• Handle written discovery and motion practice
• Take and defend depositions
• Attend hearings, mediations, and court appearances
• Conduct in-depth legal research and case analysis
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on litigation strategy
• Maintain strong client communication and reporting

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• 2 7 years of civil litigation experience
• Strong writing, research, and analytical skills
• Experience with depositions and motion practice
• Ability to manage multiple matters independently
• Admission in Rhode Island required
• Admission in CT and/or MA strongly preferred
