AI/ML Prompt Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled AI/ML Prompt Engineer to design, optimize, and evaluate prompts for large language models (LLMs) and generative AI systems. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business requirements and AI model capabilities by crafting high-quality prompts, improving model outputs, and building scalable AI-driven solutions.

• Design, test, and optimize prompts for LLMs and Generative AI models (GPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.)

• Develop structured prompt frameworks to improve accuracy, consistency, and performance of AI outputs

• Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into AI solutions

• Build and maintain prompt libraries, templates, and reusable AI workflows

• Evaluate model performance using testing methodologies, benchmarking, and output validation

• Implement prompt chaining, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and multi-step reasoning workflows

• Work with structured and unstructured datasets to improve AI model responses

• Monitor hallucinations, bias, and response quality and implement mitigation strategies

• Integrate AI solutions with enterprise applications using APIs and automation frameworks

• Stay updated with emerging AI/ML and generative AI trends

• 3+ years of experience in AI/ML, NLP, or Generative AI-related roles

• Strong hands-on experience with Prompt Engineering and LLM tuning

• Experience working with OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or open-source LLM frameworks

• Proficiency in Python and experience with AI/ML libraries (LangChain, LlamaIndex, Transformers, etc.)

• Knowledge of RAG architectures, vector databases, and embedding models

• Experience working with REST APIs, JSON, and cloud-based AI services

• Strong understanding of NLP concepts, machine learning fundamentals, and data structures

• Ability to evaluate AI output quality and optimize prompt performance

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, or agent-based frameworks

• Familiarity with fine-tuning LLMs

• Knowledge of vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS, Chroma, etc.)

• Experience with cloud AI platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)

• Understanding of AI ethics, bias mitigation, and responsible AI practices

• Strong communication and documentation skills

• Ability to translate business problems into AI-driven solutions
