☁️ Cloud Architect (Contract-to-Hire)

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to join a growing team delivering enterprise-scale cloud and managed services solutions. This is a client-facing role requiring strong communication skills, deep cloud architecture expertise, and a passion for designing secure, scalable, and modern cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement multi-cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform environments.
• Develop cloud reference architectures, standards, and best practices for managed services offerings.
• Lead cloud transformation, modernization, and migration initiatives.
• Architect secure, scalable, and highly available cloud solutions for enterprise customers.
• Collaborate with Security, Operations, Product Management, and Architecture teams to ensure alignment with business and technical objectives.
• Define and implement cloud security controls, governance frameworks, and compliance requirements.
• Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation initiatives using modern cloud technologies.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and architectural guidance across teams.
• Lead executive-level discussions, architecture workshops, and customer presentations.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations on cloud strategy and innovation.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Cloud Architect, Solutions Architect, or similar architecture-focused role.
• Strong expertise with AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform cloud platforms.
• Experience designing and securing IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions.
• Deep understanding of cloud security, identity management, networking, and governance.
• Experience with Kubernetes, containers, and cloud-native architectures.
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).
• Experience with cloud networking, firewalls, WAF, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and hybrid cloud connectivity.
• Familiarity with compliance and security frameworks such as HIPAA, ISO 27001, or HITRUST.
• Excellent client-facing communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead technical discussions with both executive and engineering audiences.
• Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform Professional-Level Certifications.
• Terraform (HashiCorp) Certification.
• Kubernetes Certifications (CKA, CKS, etc.).
• Experience with multi-tenant SaaS platforms and managed services environments.
• Strong background in cloud security architecture and threat modeling.
