Senior Java Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a Senior Java Developer to join their team for a remote role.

Summary:
They will be supporting a management system that allows easy flow of process of the clients order system. The team supports the entire platform that creates tools and libraries that the rest of the management system uses. Additionally, the main focus will be migration from PCF to Google Cloud Platform, which includes backend service work. The role is fast paced, on a more independent team, so this individual will need to be able to hit the ground running and work productively on their own.

REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of experience
* Strong background with Java and Spring Boot; This team is all backend development building microservices
* Java 21+
* Spring 5.2+
* Spring Boot 2.2 framework+
* Kafka
* Databases - (Oracle, Cassandra, Elastic Search, Redis)
* Google Cloud Platform/GKE (AWS is ok if they are strong)
* Strong communication and ability to work independently - this team is fast paced and needs someone who can hit the ground running

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
