Desktop Support Specialist
Location: Denver, CO (Onsite – 5 days/week)
Duration: 6-month contract
Travel: Required (regional locations)
Compensation: $35,W2
Travel Expectations
- Travel with the IT Manager to CO, MT, WY, NE
- Estimated 3–4 total weeks of travel during the engagement
Innovar Group is seeking a Desktop Support Specialist with light network administration experience for a short-term onsite engagement supporting a multi-location manufacturing environment. This role is primarily hands-on desktop support with some exposure to infrastructure and network troubleshooting alongside the IT Manager.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys field support work and short-term technical projects across multiple sites.
Desktop Support
- Provide onsite Tier 2 desktop support for end users
- Configure and deploy laptops, desktops, and peripherals
- Troubleshoot Windows OS, printers, connectivity, and user access issues
- Support Microsoft 365 applications and user account requests
- Assist with workstation setup across multiple facilities
Systems / Network Support
- Assist with basic network troubleshooting (switches, connectivity, VLAN awareness)
- Support user provisioning in Active Directory / Azure AD environments
- Help maintain hardware inventory and documentation
- Work alongside the IT Manager during site visits and infrastructure tasks
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of desktop support experience
- Strong Windows environment troubleshooting skills
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and Active Directory
- Basic networking exposure (switches, connectivity troubleshooting, IP concepts)
- Comfortable working onsite daily in Denver
- Willingness to travel regionally as needed
Nice to Have:
- Experience supporting manufacturing or multi-site environments
- Exposure to Azure AD / Intune or endpoint deployment tools
