Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager with our mortgage loan corporation client in their McLean, VA location. This is a 6 month + contract position. Summary: We are seeking a seasoned Senior Program Manager (Contractor) to support the Single Family Acquisitions (SFA) Enterprise Business Model (EBM) Action Team.
The Enterprise Business Model (EBM) is a strategic enterprise initiative focused on standardizing how business processes, data, and business events are defined, modeled, and shared across applications to enable consistent data usage, improved integration, and streamlined producer-consumer alignment. The program spans analysis, modeling, approval, implementation, and change management phases and requires coordination across product teams, data teams, architecture, and governance stakeholders.
The selected candidate will join the EBM Action Team and will be responsible for the strategy, planning, development, and execution of program management capabilities required to establish and scale EBM adoption across SFA applications. This role will focus on bringing structure, visibility, and execution discipline to a complex, multi-workstream initiative.
The role may also include facilitation of cross-functional working sessions, gathering stakeholder feedback, and supporting onboarding and adoption efforts across internal teams consuming and producing EBM-compliant data.
Responsibilities: - Collaborate with internal stakeholders (product teams, architects, EBM liaisons, data teams, and leadership) to develop EBM strategy, define adoption scope, and plan.
- Effectively manage assigned efforts using standard program/project management tools, including: Program plans and timelines
- RAID (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies) logs
- Status reporting and dashboards
- Direct interaction with senior management regarding program status, progress, risks, and key decisions
- Drive coordination across multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment of deliverables, timelines, and dependencies
- Facilitate meetings and working sessions, including: Scheduling sessions and defining cadence
- Developing agendas and presentation materials
- Capturing minutes and documenting key decisions
- Tracking and following up on action items
- Support EBM onboarding activities, including intake, scoping, template
- completion, and business sign-off coordination
- Ensure effective producer-consumer alignment through coordination with application teams and downstream data consumers
- Manage and prioritize multiple tasks and competing priorities across program workstreams
- Develop and maintain clear, concise, and executive-ready communications and documentation
- Identify and escalate program risks, issues, and blockers, and drive mitigation and resolution across teams
- Support change management and stakeholder readiness activities to enable adoption of EBM practices

Requirements: - 5+ years of related program and/or project management experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
- Experience building and maintaining program infrastructure, including: Program governance and operating models
- Planning and schedule management
- Risk and issue management
- Reporting and communication frameworks
- Experience working with stakeholders to understand business objectives, program scope, and success criteria
- Proven ability to manage large-scale, cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and dependencies
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of the organization, including executive leadership
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify risks and develop solutions
- Exceptional organization, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Detail-oriented with respect to tracking, reporting, and communication
- Strong leadership presence, with the ability to influence without direct authority and drive alignment across teams
- Ideal candidate will have 5+ years of Project Management experience with a strong background in risk management and data transformation initiatives.
- Strong communication skills, stakeholder management, and ability to support full project lifecycles, including planning, status reporting, and issue tracking.
- Excellent organizational skills are required. Experience building presentations is a plus.

Desired Experience - Experience supporting enterprise data transformation, data modeling, or governance initiatives
- Familiarity with financial services, mortgage industry, or secondary mortgage market
- Experience working with tools such as Jira, Excel-based tracking, or enterprise reporting tools
- PMP or equivalent project/program management certification preferred
Pay rate range: Up to $62.28 hourly
