Job Description:
Senior Product Designer

Fully remote, but needs to work PST hours! 12 month contract that can keep extending. Must have a portfolio to share as well!
About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Product Designer to support a multinational retail beauty client on high-impact digital initiatives. This role spans enterprise design systems, internal tools, and client-facing brand experiences, with a slightly heavier emphasis on enterprise work.

The scope has evolved from being primarily CMS-focused to a broader mix of enterprise platforms and brand portals, requiring someone who can confidently navigate both worlds and switch contexts seamlessly.

This is a highly collaborative, hands-on role suited for a designer who is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable explaining the "why" behind every design decision.
Key Initiatives & Projects
  • Brand Portal & Brand Boutiques
    • Curated brand landing pages that enable brands to tell their story
    • Elevated, client-facing digital experiences with strong visual polish
    • Primary area of focus within the role
  • Enterprise & Store Systems
    • Enterprise platform enhancements
    • Store-facing and internal tools
    • POS workflow updates and optimization
    • Operational and system-driven UX challenges
  • Cross-Platform Digital Work
    • Web (desktop and mobile)
    • Internal enterprise tools
    • Scalable design system-driven experiences
Responsibilities
  • Partner closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to identify opportunities and define thoughtful, scalable solutions
  • Design across both client-facing and enterprise experiences, with an enterprise-weighted focus
  • Produce low-to-high fidelity design work, including flows, wireframes, prototypes, and pixel-perfect final UI
  • Clearly articulate design rationale, tradeoffs, and the reasoning behind decisions-not just follow a standard UX process
  • Present work confidently and tell a clear design story to cross-functional and executive stakeholders
  • Contribute to and work within established design systems, including creating, refining, and applying components and patterns
  • Maintain exceptionally organized Figma files-others should be able to open your files and immediately understand structure and intent
  • Collaborate closely with engineering to ensure high-quality implementation and participate in visual QA
  • Manage multiple workstreams while meeting timelines and navigating shifting priorities
What We're Looking For

Level & Experience
  • Senior Product Designer or strong mid-level designer ready to operate at a senior level
  • Experience designing both enterprise systems and customer-facing digital products

Portfolio Requirements
  • Clear examples of:
    • Client-facing / brand-driven work
    • Enterprise or internal platform design
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and visual precision

Core Skills
  • Advanced Figma proficiency
  • Strong experience with design systems
  • Pixel-perfect execution and high visual standards
  • Excellent file organization and documentation
  • Ability to quickly navigate and explain your design files

Soft Skills & Mindset
  • Highly proactive-does not wait to be told what to do
  • Hungry, curious, and self-directed; actively learns the product and domain
  • Strong attention to detail (typos and small errors are not acceptable)
  • Comfortable presenting and defending design decisions
  • Able to clearly explain why a solution was designed a certain way and the steps taken to get there
  • Collaborative, communicative, and adaptable in an enterprise environment
