Genesis10 is currently seeking a QA Automation Tester for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role involves developing detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases based on functional requirements. The ideal candidate will automate test cases for both User-Interface (UI) and databases using tools like Selenium and Tosca, working collaboratively within an Agile team to ensure software quality.
Responsibilities: - Develop detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test cases based on functional requirements
- Automate test cases in User-Interface (UI) and database using tools like Selenium/Tosca
- Build and use test data required to accomplish execution of test cases
- Execute all levels of testing (Functional, Integration, and Regression)
- Design, develop, and execute automation scripts
- Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies, and provide timely solutions
- Apply quality principles throughout the Agile product lifecycle
Requirements: - Technical BA/BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Math or equivalent experience
- 6+ years of experience in Software Testing
- Experience with Automation testing using tools like Selenium/TOSCA for UI and database
- Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester using SQL, Database, and ETL technologies
- Strong experience in writing complex SQL queries using Joins
- Experience with Unix and writing/executing Unix commands
- Working knowledge of test management software (e.g., qTest, Octane)
- Hands-on Agile experience
Desired skills: - Strong problem identification and solving skills
- Experience working with globally distributed teams
- Experience in the Banking domain
Pay range: $49.37 - $57.37 per hour
