Software Engineer (Contingent Resource) - Charlotte, NC
About the Role

As a contingent Software Engineer, you will support moderately complex engineering initiatives and contribute to the delivery of high-quality technical solutions. You'll partner with engineering teams to analyze challenges, evaluate options, and drive execution aligned with organizational standards, policies, and compliance requirements. This role involves cross-functional collaboration and offers the opportunity to support planning activities for larger engineering efforts.
What You'll Do

Contribute to the design, development, and delivery of moderately complex software engineering solutions.
Participate in planning activities related to software engineering projects and deliverables.
Analyze engineering challenges, evaluate technical factors, and recommend solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues by applying strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
Apply established engineering practices, compliance policies, and operational procedures throughout the development lifecycle.

Minimum Qualifications

4+ years of software engineering experience, or equivalent experience gained through professional work, consulting, training, military service, or education.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Java / J2EE
Proficiency in Python
Knowledge of APIGEE for API management
Experience with data analytics tools or frameworks
