Job Title: Manual QA

Job Type: Contract
Job Overview:
Pay Range: $25.00hr - $30.00hr
Requirement/Must Have:
- Willingness to work on-site daily.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional interactions.
- Experience with test tools used for debugging or investigation, such as Visual Studio, gdb, Android Studio, or adb.
- Competency with command line tools.
- Experience with commonly used bug-tracking software such as Jira, Bugzilla, or Mantis.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate on feature bring-up with engineers.
- Handle ad-hoc requests from other teams.
- Develop test strategies and test plans for new products and features.
- Author test cases and create or assign test runs.
- Perform bug review, de-duplication, and triage.
- Provide test status reporting.
- Maintain test cases by adding new cases to established areas and editing existing cases for accuracy.
- Review bug reports submitted by other team members.
- Perform targeted ad-hoc testing of undocumented areas.
- Execute test cases.
- Investigate and report software and hardware bugs.
- Verify bug fixes.
- Create clear and concise reports.
- Review logs to derive the root cause of bugs.
