PETADATA is currently hiring a Business Analyst for one of their clients.

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with finance stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to financial systems and processes.

  • Conduct detailed requirement analysis including BRD, FRD, use cases, process flows, and gap analysis.

  • Work closely with Accounting, Treasury, FP&A, and Risk teams to understand functional needs.

  • Analyze financial data and prepare reports to support strategic decision-making.

  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications for technical teams.

  • Support implementation and enhancement of financial systems such as ERP, billing, reporting, and compliance platforms.

  • Perform impact analysis for regulatory and compliance changes (e.g., SOX, GAAP, IFRS).

  • Facilitate UAT (User Acceptance Testing), prepare test cases, and ensure successful deployment.

  • Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend automation solutions.

  • Act as a liaison between business users and IT teams to ensure timely project delivery.

  • Provide post-implementation support and assist in issue resolution.


Required Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with strong exposure to the Finance domain.

  • In-depth knowledge of financial processes such as Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Budgeting, Forecasting, and Financial Reporting.

  • Strong understanding of financial compliance standards (GAAP, IFRS, SOX).

  • Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar financial platforms.

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, SQL, and reporting/BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

  • Experience in Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Educational Qualification :

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
