Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Cloud Security Architect or Cloud Platform Developer with a hands-on coding focus to join our Cybersecurity organization. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our Cloud Engineering team to ensure the security and configuration of cloud infrastructure across Azure, AWS, and other cloud service providers. The ideal candidate will have experience with WIZ Cloud Security for triggering Azure cloud automation scripts and will be responsible for monitoring and managing cyber technology within the cloud environment. You will also contribute to the development of cloud security strategies, provide expert guidance, conduct security assessments, and design and implement secure cloud architectures. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about cloud security and well-versed in modern cloud security concerns such as secure configurations, container security, and cloud incident response.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement secure cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Develop Azure Cloud Automation code with the WIZ Platform.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and ensure compliance with frameworks such as NIST and CIS.
  • Lead incident response for cloud environments and contribute to tabletop exercises.
  • Collaborate with developers and DevOps teams to ensure secure CI/CD and IaC best practices.
  • Ensure user access and privileged account management to cloud resources align with industry best practices.
  • Provide input to GRC teams on cloud security policies and IAM standards.
  • Perform security reviews of cloud architecture, infrastructure, and applications, identify gaps, and execute strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Manage CSPM and Container Security technologies with hands-on experience.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert on cloud security topics, best practices, and emerging technologies.
  • Identify and apply strategies to optimize resource utilization and minimize costs.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and support to junior staff members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and comply with all policies and standards.
Qualifications:
  • Required Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Required Experience: A minimum of 10+ years of direct cybersecurity cloud experience in configuring and supporting cloud applications and infrastructure.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 services, including Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, and Microsoft Identity and Access.
  • Understanding of modern cloud technology components such as virtual machines, containers, Kubernetes, serverless, and infrastructure as code.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Azure architecture and core services, including Virtual Machines, Azure Active Directory, Azure Networking, and more.
  • Experience with DevOps and building CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell or Azure CLI for automation.
  • Knowledge of network architectures, including VNETs, subnets, VPNs, and ExpressRoute.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Collaborative and effective in cross-functional team environments.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess risks and vulnerabilities in complex systems.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of programming languages like Python, .NET, or Java; certifications such as M365 Security, Microsoft Azure Administration Associate AZ 104, or Microsoft Azure Security Engineer Associate AZ 500.

Pay Range: $85 - $90/hr. W2
