Job Title: Senior Business Process / Transformation Manager
Location: New York, NY (Hybrid - 3 Days Onsite / 2 Days Remote)
Duration: 12 Months  (with potential for extension)

W2 Hourly Rate: $60-74/hour

Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Business Process / Transformation Manager who will support our NYS client in leading and implementing transformational initiatives across a large IT organization. This role will partner with leadership and stakeholders to improve business processes, streamline operations, resolve bottlenecks, and establish measurable performance standards. The consultant will also support change management, project planning, business case development, and operational reviews for large technology programs.

Duties:
  • Collaborate with department leadership to develop, track, monitor, and implement transformational initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for IT process improvement, develop improvement strategies, and resolve operational bottlenecks.
  • Lead process, SOP, risk profile, and SLA reviews to identify risks and opportunities across core business processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Conduct due diligence and operational reviews, formulate process improvement recommendations, and prepare and present business cases, findings, benefits, and recommendations to stakeholders at various organizational levels.
  • Compile and track departmental priorities, assist staff with work plan development, monitor key initiatives, and escalate issues to leadership as appropriate.
  • Provide hands-on support for large programs involving IT project work and business transformation activities.
  • Assist with the design and implementation of disciplined scorecards covering productivity, service levels, quality, risk levels, and transaction costs.
  • Support organizational change management activities associated with transformational and business process improvement initiatives.
Mandatory Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of business experience, including demonstrated hands-on involvement in large programs involving IT project work.
  • 6+ Years experience in change management.
  • 6+ Years experience in project management and work plan development.
  • 6+ Years experience in quantitative analysis with demonstrated analytical capabilities and quantitative skills.
  • 6+ Years experience in problem solving, including identifying process improvement opportunities and resolving operational bottlenecks.
  • 6+ Years experience in advanced professional communication, including written, verbal, digital, interpersonal, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • 6+ Years experience with Six Sigma; LEAN certification, Six Sigma training, or comparable process improvement training is required.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across all levels of a large organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a high-profile, high-pressure environment.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio.
  • Prior experience translating business needs into functional requirement specifications for technology solutions.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • MBA preferred.
  • Prior experience with a government agency is a plus.

Educational & Certification Requirements:
  • LEAN certification, Six Sigma training, or comparable process improvement training is required.
  • MBA preferred.
