AV Technician (Audio Visual / Teams Rooms / IT Support)

Our team is seeking an experienced AV Technician to support live events, conference rooms, and enterprise IT environments. This role is ideal for candidates with strong audio-visual expertise and IT support experience who enjoy hands-on troubleshooting and working in dynamic environments.

Responsibilities
- Set up, install, and operate audio-visual equipment for live events and meetings (projectors, microphones, sound boards, video monitors)
- Support and maintain Teams Rooms, Zoom, and video conferencing technologies
- Perform troubleshooting and maintenance of AV and IT equipment
- Assist with venue setup and layout adjustments to optimize sound and performance
- Provide Tier 2 technical support for AV systems and workstation-related issues
- Install, configure, and support computer hardware, software, and peripherals
- Monitor and resolve Service Desk tickets and technical issues
- Maintain and support digital signage systems
- Coordinate equipment repairs and manage inventory of AV assets and spare parts
- Provide on-site support for live events, including after-hours as needed
- Create and maintain technical documentation and service records
- Train users on AV equipment and provide guidance on conference room technology
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with hands-on AV support experience (technical training preferred)
- Experience supporting audio-visual equipment in a professional environment
- Strong knowledge of projection systems, video conferencing, microphones, and sound systems
- Experience with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and collaboration tools
- Knowledge of computer hardware, software, and basic networking (LAN/WAN)
- Experience with Microsoft Windows and Office Suite (including Outlook)
- Strong troubleshooting skills across AV and IT environments
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Teams Rooms or enterprise AV environments
- Experience providing Tier 2 IT support
- Familiarity with digital signage platforms
- Experience supporting networked printers and peripherals
- Experience assisting with conference room setup/design
- Ability to manage small projects and coordinate vendors
