Role Summary
A Junior ServiceNow Developer and Administrator is responsible for supporting and maintaining the ServiceNow platform within a dynamic IT environment. This entry-level role focuses on assisting with system administration, configuration, and enhancements to ensure optimal platform performance and data integrity. The position offers growth opportunities for individuals with foundational ServiceNow experience eager to develop technical skills and expertise in IT service management tools.
Responsibilities
- Administer and support the ServiceNow platform to ensure system stability and performance.
- Configure and maintain Discovery probes, patterns, and mid-servers for accurate data collection.
- Implement and manage Service Graph Connectors to facilitate external system integrations.
- Monitor and maintain Configuration Management Database (CMDB) health for data accuracy and compliance.
- Assist with platform upgrades, patches, and troubleshooting to resolve technical issues.
- Collaborate with senior developers and stakeholders to implement system enhancements and resolve incidents.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing.
- Stay current with ServiceNow best practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support daily operations and respond to user inquiries related to ServiceNow functionalities.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to expand technical knowledge and skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of ServiceNow administration or development experience.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform administration, including user roles and configurations.
- Experience editing and customizing Discovery probes and patterns.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow platform upgrades, debugging, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a quick learner.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Availability to start immediately and work full-time.
Publishing Pay Range: $45.00 - $48.00 hourly
This is a fully remote role and can be performed from an approved location.
